This is a course on economic development from a "macroeconomic" perspective -- that is, we are interested in aggregate models that inform us about the causes of economic growth and income differences across countries. We especially focus on topics of agricultural development, such as Fertility and development, Misallocation of resources, Urbanization and structural transformation, Agriculture productivity gaps, etc.
